THE MERRY MICKS, a family based ensemble, is a local band that specializes in Irish Music. The group consists of brothers Tony and Paddy Fitzgerald, their sister Catherine Rull, Tony’s wife Judy, and their close friend and neighbour Gloria Leveque.

Their performances are enhanced by the addition of some of their children, who are accomplished fiddlers and step dancers in their own right. Having grown up in the Maynooth area, they have developed quite a following.

Annual performances in Bancroft at the Village Playhouse, the Maynooth Celtic Festival, St. Patrick’s Day parties, local fairs and singing at church functions have provided lots of exposure for this incredibly versatile group. Their lively antics on stage, coupled with their talented renditions of Irish and Canadian music, promise an enjoyable and memorable experience for any and all audiences.
